HMS Danae First Commission

1967 to 1970

Sister web site created and run by Roy Mckee primarily for those that served together on the First Commission and a wealth of information past and present is available on the site.. Reunions are normally held in April of each year in Chesterfield, but as a one off an additional one in October this year (2007) only will be in held in Devonport to celebrate the 40th year of the Commish, reverting back to the usual venue of Chesterfield in April 2008.

The Crazy Y

Created and run by Alan 'Dusty' Miller, 2003 t0 2006 the site has a great following from the  1980's crew that took her to the  Falklands where she was a very import member of the Task Force, the site is now run by Ray Lester.

Created and Run by Ray Lester Primarily for those that served aboard in the late 60's early 70's. the site is in it's early stages and will hopefully be developed with the help of ex crew members from the era.

TS Danae are a Sea Cadet Training ship and are named after a number of Ships all bearing the Name HMS Danae, the latest being a Exocet Leander Class Frigate. Come meet us and if you like us.
